1) Rain aka Free Distilled Water!!! Collect it all while you can! Use a barrel! Use a rain water harvesting tank! Every bit counts
2) Regular nutrition: I use Sun rich Organic Manure and home made compost
3) Legume crops growing in the vincinity
4) pH balanced grow bags: beware of fancy grow bags filled with unwashed, highly acidic coco peat
5) Being Ant Free
